Every story on this site started somewhere: a memory, a moment, a life someone was brave enough to put into words. I know how hard that first step can be, because I've lived it myself, writing my own book, Timing — a new book with the insights and inspiration that gave me compassion and understanding for myself, the events, and the people in my life.
I specialize in helping people write about the profound turning points, such as moving. We can frame a story on why you migrated, what you found when you arrived, and where that choice has led you. Maybe it was another experience that shifted your life, and we can shape that into a story as well.
Some people want to write these stories themselves, with guidance. Others want to talk them out loud and have someone else shape them. All are powerful ways to preserve your journey. Here's how we can work together.
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds, noted below. Additional rounds beyond what's included are $75 for the first extra round, and $100 for each round after that.

You Talk, I Listen, I Write, I Read to You
For those whose migration stories live vividly in memory and conversation rather than on the page. I interview you and shape your words into a finished piece.
Starting at $750 · 2–3 interview sessions + drafting a standalone story up to 2,500 words
Both formats also work for someone else's story: a parent's, a grandparent's, or a friend's, told through your eyes and with your care.

Every format above can be done entirely by voice instead of by typing, at your pace, in whatever order your memories surface. Many people find they share more deeply and honestly when talking rather than writing.

Pay-As-You-Go Audio
Async audio support Monday–Friday, with a 24-hour response time limit.
$125/week
Live 60-minute verbal outlining or storytelling session over Zoom or phone. You talk, I map your structure.
$175/hour
You submit a 15-minute voice recording of your story idea or chapter summary. I reply with a 10-minute audio breakdown detailing structural feedback.

Structured bundles combining strategy, live sessions, and developmental check-ins.
Two 45-minute planning calls, review of up to 3 blog posts/articles per month (max 3,000 words total), and SEO hook auditing.

One-off 60-minute deep dive to build a content calendar, map an article, or break through writer's block.

Bi-weekly 45-minute Zoom or phone calls, review of up to 5,000 words per month, and developmental action steps.

Three 60-minute calls per month, review of up to 12,000 words per month, and asynchronous text/audio support between sessions.

A two-day virtual intensive to establish your memoir's theme, narrative arc, and full chapter outline. Includes a 30-minute follow-up call.

Full Story Editing & Polish
For writers who have already written a complete short story about their journey and want a professional editorial review before sharing it with the world. I review your full story for pacing, structure, clarity, and tone, ensuring your authentic voice shines through. Pricing is based entirely on the length of your piece. Includes 1 round of revision on the edited piece.

Two more ways to preserve a story: a third-person account for a parent, grandparent, or friend who can't or won't write it themselves, priced the same as the Short Story formats above, or a professionally recorded audio reading of your finished story, a meaningful keepsake for those who'd rather listen than read.
